The Chair aim to institutionalize minimum of 2,500 young women to join organized STEM workforce after completing skill training intervention. The intervention aims to increase women participation in STEM which is significantly low at present.
At least 2,000 families from disadvantaged sections to derive direct and indirect benefit from will socio-economic upliftment after undergoing the training program every year
More than 10,000 women to be sensitized on need and scope of Women in STEM as part of the Chair’s advocacy campaign. This will open up opportunities for girls and women in STEM job roles and help in breaking the societal barriers for Women in STEM.
At least 100 industry players will be directly or indirectly involved in the program as donors, recruiters, advocates or subject matter experts. The initiative will help tapping the untapped potential for women in STEM jobs.
Based on the learnings received from implementation of such innovative initiatives, the Chair aim to populate the learnings across different States and stakeholders. Thereby increasing the scale of the project.
The Chair further aims to expand the reach of the project nationally and globally by knowledge sharing and replication of successful models across different boundaries.
